The Emmaus Secretary is a non-voting member of the Board chosen by the Coordinator with the approval of the rest of the Board.
The Secretary’s responsibilities include the following:
· Recording and distributing minutes of each Board meeting
· Processing candidate applications (keeping the Coordinator and weekend Director up to date)
· Maintaining payment records for each weekend
·Preparing the palanca list for each Emmaus weekend; the list should include the date of the weekend, the theme, Team names and talks, names of candidates and sponsors, and closing mass information.
· Updating candidate address list for distribution to Team and candidates
The length of the Secretary’s term is at the discretion of the Coordinator.
